We’ve made so many versions of this at home with varying bases and toppings…..but this one is my favourite!
The mixture of panner, pepper and cheddar with spices is what makes this a winner for me!
Overview

Ingredients
- 6 Frozen parathas (I use Shana frozen parathas available at Tesco)
- 200g paneer grated
- 150g cheddar grated
- 2 green chillies chopped
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 red pepper thinly sliced
- 1 large onion thinly sliced (or a few spring onions chopped)
- A few sun dried tomato pieces chopped (optional)
- Quarter cup chopped coriander
- 2 tbsp crème fraîche (or double cream)
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- Juice from half lemon
- Ghee or cooking oil
- Olive oil to drizzle over the pizzas
Method
- Cook the parathas on a pan as per packet instructions
- Add ghee or cooking oil to a hot pan
- Once the oil is hot add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle
- Add the green chillies, and garlic and saute for a few seconds
- Add the onions and a bit of salt and cook till the onions get translucent
- Add turmeric, cumin powder and coriander powder and mix well
- Add the peppers and cook for a few minutes (don’t overcook the peppers)
- Add the grated paneer and cook for a minute
- Turn off the hob and preheat the oven to 170C fan
- Add the grated cheese, chopped coriander and crème fraîche and mix well
- Place parathas on a pizza pan and spoon the mix over the parathas
- Drizzle with a bit of olive oil and cook for 10 minutes
- Add the chopped sun dried tomatoes on the cooked pizza just before serving
