Banana Tree – Bayswater, London

Posted on July 14, 2018 by Swati Leave a Comment on Banana Tree – Bayswater, London

The evening of the England – Croatia World Cup semi finals I was catching up with a friend from Mumbai who was visiting London. She was based at Bayswater London so we decided to meet at the tube station and walk around and pop into any restaurant we fancied for a bite. We had quite a few restaurants to choose from (anything other than a pub had loads of empty tables as everyone was busy watching the match!).

Both of us like Thai cuisine so we decided to pop into Banana Tree which looked very casual and friendly! We split a chicken satay starter and a Thai Green curry with prawns for our mains. Portion sizes were good. My bench mark is the Thai Green curry and although it didn’t match the Tom Yum standard it was quite good! So we had a lovely evening catching up over a glass of wine and some good food….
