Koho – our lovely cafe in Little Chalfont launched their first supper club this month! They had a special menu prepared by their chef Carlos inspired by his home country – Portugal. And the food as expected was amazing! They plan to have supper klubs on the first Friday every month with a different theme so keep a look out on their facebook page for updates!
When we reached we were offered complimentary fish cakes as appetisers which was a lovely touch.
There was a choice of three starters – I picked the ‘King Prawns with Chef’s homemade special sauce’. It was amazing and the sauce was out this world! I would love to get my hands on that recipe!!!
Mains again there were three options – I choose the ‘Pan fried fillet of seabass served with saffron rice and a tomato and red onion salsa’. This was lovely as well but could have been seasoned a bit more!
And dessert!! Well I wasn’t planning on ordering any but I was with a friend who ordered the ‘Homemade chocolate mousse’ and it looked so good that I just couldn’t resist!!!
I started the meal thinking I’ll just do two courses but went ahead with all three! Greedy me!!!! And to go alongside our meal we had some lovely Portuguese white wine which was a perfect accompaniment!
So all in all a very enjoyable evening! Well done #TeamKoho for an amazing Supper Klub…..looking forward to many more!
