Natural History Museum Lates

Posted on July 27, 2019 by Swati Leave a Comment on Natural History Museum Lates

Finally made it to the Natural History Museum Lates. Such a fun evening for the adults and kids.

The museum is open till late (6pm to 10pm) on the final Friday of each month (except December) where you can enjoy various exhibitions, talks, demos, food and drinks!

The newest addition to coincide with the fiftieth anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing is an absolutely incredible ‘Museum of the Moon’ on display by UK artist Luke Jerram! It’s a six meter spherical sculpture, featuring high resolution NASA imagery of the lunar surface. It was such a beautiful, calming experience to lie down under the breathtaking moon – almost like a meditation!

The kids also loved it….the Museum of the Moon is a must see – with or without kids. They have various activities / sessions for space enthusiasts of all ages – from yoga under the moon, interactive theatre performances to space related talks, and so much more!

Here’s a stunning pic of the museum as we were walking out…
