Set within a glass dome of London’s highest garden (Sky Garden) is the elegant Darwin Brasserie on the 36th floor of 20 Fenchurch Street (also called the Walkie Talkie building)
Overlooking the River Thames, the London Bridge and the iconic Shard – this stylish all day Brasserie combines understated luxury with a view to kill.
Last time we went to the Sky Garden for my daughter’s 7th birthday, I had booked free passes to enter a few weeks in advance but this time I was keen to experience one of the restaurants and after a quick look at the menus I picked the Darwin for breakfast as it seemed to be the most child friendly option. We had a booking for 10am and reached at 9.30am to give us enough time for the airport style security checks at the entrance.
The ambiance was amazing and the service and food exceptional. Such a brilliant start to our day!
After breakfast we spent some time enjoying the beautiful sky garden and even though we were stuffed after that scrumptious breakfast we still had more coffees and muffins at the sky pod bar while we hung around soaking in the breathtaking views and enjoying the stunning gardens!
